Nice colors

but really, there is such a thing as too difficult. Meh, at least some kind of learning curve to get you into the game a bit before feeling like an idiot.
Otherwise, nice unique puzzle

Fun mind-awakener

ya, I can dig it! Fun trying to not miss a single one...just needs a score table. Oh and you have no power over this, but thought I would mention it - one flaw of these flash type games mixed with a mechanic of mad clickedy clack is when you accidentally hit the link below and it goes to the other tab. If only there were some way to override that.

You know what

I don't care, it was short but sweet and I liked it :)
Got me into the "zone" with the pixel-face zoom in and then the simple yet encouraging controls and obvious mission. Weirdly enough I thought this game had more atmosphere than many others, know what I mean? The presentation, I guess, just worked. A bit hypnotic. Maybe you hypnotized me.

Great Sequel..

to a great game. This one has a few more tricky spots with the spikes, but some more levels to top it off after it started to get difficult would've been just right. Still a wonderful concept and mechanic, and great funny presentation as well. I liked the broken button for flash-portal 2

how in the hell

do you pass lvl 3? gaaa! But if that one goes there, the wall is...it's in the...male female sign blocks...

Very good

I dunno though...there is one achingly frustrating thing that led me to the conclusion that this game was ill-conceived, and should never be...the spelling and pronounciation of Ms whats-her-face(should be Mrs, or said "Miss"). This one mistake cannot be forgi....Im fucking with ya! What a douche I would be huh? Oh man... Really, though - it's all been said. Very professional, beautifully rendered stealer of a good hour or so :) I do have to let you in on one bug I encountered however: in the water valve room, I put the cursor over the coin..and I can't remember if I even clicked or had the chance to, but it simply disappeared, and it's not in my inventory. Now, I didn't even know about this critical game-furthering token until I got stuck at the point where one must have 75 for the machine and I had only 50. And thus having read the walkthrough it was verified that I did indeed encounter a game-fault error; I've gone back to that valve room a few times, and no coin. Shrug..so I'll have to start over to see the ending, but it'll be worth it. Just know that you made that good of a game (but try to fix the error; like I had to tell you)

console-worthy

This was very well designed, and I mean designed - some people develop an engine, a game style or something - but then they'll post it on here unfinished and there's not much to the content. But this actually felt like (well, by console standards it would be very short) a real game. It had a nice enemy/challenge progression, and the path you take and how you get weapons etc. felt all very well paced. This is one of very few flash games where I was hooked on the gameplay from the start, and had the drive to want to finish it - the difficulty is just enough to keep you strafing and shooting, using those items when you need them. On the last boss I actually died about 3 times before finally working out just how to overcome the odds; it had that frustrating yet magnetizing effect usually only found in a major title. Very nicely done, promising future.

wow

well, I've played some very amazing games and watched some very amazing movies on this site, and still am too lazy to sign in to comment..so that I'm writing this review shows the greatness of this piece of brilliant fiction; I call it that because, although it is foremost a game, a majority of time is spend reading the journal etc. - and I am impressed. Such solid writing, and truely deeply make me sick, sad, angry, yet filled me with that "I'll get those fucking bastards" rev that only the best human tragedy st.tellers can induce. Anyway, I feel inspired by this work and hope this becomes a novel and or movie some day. Excellent scripting and gameplay experience all around, too, of course.

Hilarious and fun

The thing that gets me is, the things that other reviewers are complaining about are some of the best things about your game! What a perfectly designed little humor-based graphic adventure. The stuff that doesn't make sense, the out-of-game jokes ie "I don't wanna go over there....I just don't." make it ok that he can't go over there..it adds to the minimalist feel that this game is built upon and is self-mocking itself on this very thing. Especially with the awesome ending...Im sure everyone thought, "Ever lazy, why doesn't he just walk up the escalator" in reference to when he says he's trapped in the mall - but anyone who gets the joke quickly realizes the intent of the pointless adventure with a non-hero. But even thinking this, one could still not quite see the ending coming as it did - but it does bring hilarious closure to what we all were thinking, "He CAN just walk out!!" - And the jokes and self-world-mocking commentary throughout is just a delight! One more thing - the graphics: Awesome -simple but very well stylized - and characters are all likeable especially the main char. - Nice work!! Make more...make them longer!

a really solid minigame

I agree with the author, I too have always found these reaction games (whether button pressing/mashing or platform games, sliding and jumping from one cliff to another) the true origins of gaming. Although games today present a different kind of experience, these kinds of games give a rush that only these games can. This is one of the best quick, easy addicting web games I've ever played. It's simple, but keeps you coming back wanting to beat those scores ie a game that makes all feel like they have instant potential, but makes them want to play again and again to improve their reflexes. Great work! nice coding too, with the timing/animation timing and all.

The ground ones hurt by the fish of the sun.... www.myspace.com/wasptech - for some good original music
